Frequently Asked Questions — Structured Cabling Systems

Answers to the most common questions about our structured cabling systems in the Philippines. Have a question not covered here? Our team is happy to help.

What is structured cabling and why does it matter?

Structured cabling is the organized network of cables, patch panels, and data racks that carries data, voice, and system signals throughout a building. A properly designed structured cabling system ensures reliable connectivity for computers, phones, CCTV, and access control, and makes future moves, adds, and changes far easier.

Do you install both copper and fiber optic cabling?

Yes, we design and install Category 5e/6/6A copper cabling for standard data and voice connections, as well as fiber optic backbone cabling for longer runs, higher bandwidth, or connecting multiple buildings or floors.

Can structured cabling support our CCTV and access control systems, not just IT?

Yes, modern structured cabling is typically shared infrastructure supporting IT networks, IP CCTV cameras, access control readers, and other low-voltage systems, which is more efficient than running separate dedicated cabling for each system.

Do you supply data racks and cabinets as well?

Yes, we supply and install data cabinets and racks sized to house your patch panels, switches, and servers, along with proper cable management to keep the installation organized and serviceable.

Will the cabling installation follow industry standards?

Yes, our installations follow recognized structured cabling standards (such as TIA/EIA guidelines) for cable testing, labeling, and termination, and we provide test/certification documentation upon project completion where required.

Do you provide support after the cabling is installed?

Yes, we offer troubleshooting, cable testing, and expansion services after installation, and structured cabling can also be included under a broader Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) contract alongside your other building systems.
